All about The Barber's Pole
The Barbers Pole has been in Rosemount since 1992,a smallish shop that is a hive of industry, set just at the junction with Esslemont Avenue. It is the brainchild of Fiona Dawkins, who came to Aberdeen after many years at sea, working as a hairdresser.
The main premise of the shop is a Walk-In service for men, with the average wait being no more than 12 minutes at any time. There is a television and papers for those who are waiting, and hairdressers are not set to rigid lunches and breaks, however those who would prefer to book can.
Gentlemen who find themselves at the other end of town may prefer to use the King street branch, which has a late night Thursday opening, or the SUMMERHILL court shop that has excellent free parking immediately outside.
Whichever way you look at it, from a small shop in Rosemount much bigger things have grown, we hope to see you soon ! Alternatively why not try our shop at Peterculter (open 7 days) or our new shops in Holburn Street and Cults.
