After more than twenty five successful years in business in Aberdeen which has seen us establish 8 shops across the City, we are in the enviable position of being able to offer refresher training to prospective barbers. Our training is aimed at barbers looking to return to work after a career break, young barbers looking for more training and hairdressers looking to make the transition across to barbering.
Our training is very bespoke and tailored to the individual and their specific needs. All training is overseen by director Irene Mair along with consultant Ian Turnbull. Irene and Ian have both owned their own salons with in-house training in the past, and trained many candidates to Level II SVQ standard. Ian also taught at Aberdeen College for many years.
We also have very skilled barbers who lend a hand with the training who can all draw on their unparalleled depth and breadth of knowledge and practical experience to deliver very on trend cutting and styling guidance.
We are also always looking for experienced, motivated, self-employed barbers and hairdressers
to join the Barber’s Pole team. We can offer full time, part time and bank positions in our nine salons across the city.
